Inauguration of the Machera Cultural Centre in Grevenmacher
On Friday, the Machera Cultural Centre was officially inaugurated in the presence of Mayor Monique Hermes and Ministers Claude Meisch, Lex Delles, Eric Thill and Léon Gloden.
For this ambitious project, the old, small cultural centre was thoroughly renovated and a new, modern building with a total area of over 9,000 m² was constructed. The event hall, which can accommodate up to 1,500 people, offers a high degree of flexibility and promises to become a cultural hotspot in the area.
The building also has an underground car park with 129 parking spaces, a large foyer, 10 rooms for clubs (music, photography, choir, dance, early education, etc.) and 6 multi-purpose rooms.
Bravo and many thanks to everyone involved in the project for this great achievement!
